Performs clinical, clerical, and organizational duties to maintain the efficient function of the medical office. Functions as a clerical assistant: answers phones, routes messages, locates staff as needed, and assists patient and visitors. Clinical skills could include any of the following: phlebotomy, EKG, wound care/dressings applications/changes, measurement of vital signs, height and weight, immunizations, drug testings, visual acuity, spirometry, breathalyzer, audiometry, and others as assigned.
